word “no” and it’s particular effectiveness in restaurants.
You have managed to get
most of our families to come to Vermont for the very first time!
Crying
Crying for you is rare now. Mostly when
you wake up in the middle of the night, you are hurt, or you really want
something you aren’t getting.
Sleep
It isn’t perfect, but
you are going to bed around 7:00 and wake up around 5:00 or 6:00 in the
morning. It is wonderful. You are taking a short nap in the morning and a
longer one in the afternoon. We are slowly getting the hang on this sleeping
thing.
Dislikes
It depends on your mood, but you know how
to tell us you are unhappy.
Likes
Coloring. You don’t really color yet, but
you like to tap the crayon on paper. You crawl around the house with paper and
crayon in hand most of the time.
Cuddling. Even it isn’t just for a short
moment, you love to get a good cuddle or hug in. We like it too.
Talking. By talking, I mean yelling…mostly
“no,” “oh yeah,” and “meow” when you see animals.
Firsts
Walking, though not official walking. You
take about 5-10 steps and fall down. Your feet are still wobbly, but you are
getting better every day.
You can give high-5’s. Aunt Jessie and
Elizabeth taught you that.
You can point to Mama and Dada’s nose.
You went to the zoo and LOVED seeing the
big animals.
We are definitely done with the monthly and weekly pictures. We might do one every know and then, but she won't be changing as much as she did the first year.
