Madeline,
Everything you do now,
you also did last month, so there isn’t much to add.
You have become more
stable when standing and like to walk around with the help of our fingers. You’ve
even tried to climb up a few stairs by yourself. You are strong, determined,
and persistent.
Your personality is
starting to come through and you think you are pretty funny---which you are. We
particularly like it when you make a kissy face and blow air out of your nose.
That always makes us laugh.
You can be pretty
independent when you are playing with your toys. You cruise around the house pushing
one of your toys along in your hand. You even go out the back door and down the
granite step without ever looking back.
Of course you love your
mom, dad, and friends, but you also love every child, dog, and cat you meet. If
only they let you grab their ears! And you like to watch people, especially
babies and kids, and smile at them until they smile back.
Your hair is starting to
curl, but only when it’s humid outside. And your eyes are turning brown—our brown
eyed girl.
And we love you so much
little one.

You grow so, so fast!
